Polish Team Blueber returns to its roots after The Medium and Blair Witch and will offer players in June Layers of fear. This is a remake of the first part of 2016, along with the addition of Legacy and the second part of 2019.
The developers promise to expand the original plot and new mechanics and horrors. Both parts are rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 with modern graphics, ray tracing, HDR effects and 4K support.
This is the definitive and complete version of the story of artists enslaved by obsession. “Get ready for a unique horror experience with enriched plot threads that shed new light on the entire story,” the authors add.
We are currently aware of new chapter of The Final Note. It’s from the point of view of the artist’s wife from the first game, and it will expand the story. The creators want to shed more light on the artist, his muse and family background, told from the point of view of his wife. Presumably this may change your idea of the characters from the first volume and their actions.
Layers of Fear will release this June on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
