The indie pixel game Punch Club was released in January 2016. In it, we played as a boxer who gradually trains to become the best and find out who is behind the murder of his father. The game received positive reviews and gained solid popularity, already in November of the same year, developers from Lazy Bear Games announced a sequel with the subtitle Fast Forward. But since then there has been absolute silence. That has only changed now, over 6 years later, when we got the re-announcement trailer at IGN Fan Fest. The game also received a product page on Steam, where we learned more details.

The action of the second part takes place 20 years after the events of the first game, and the future is not entirely pleasant. People eat slime and the world is riddled with corruption. We take on the role of a young man who spends time in his mother’s garage. But he could be the one to save humanity if he trains enough. Or maybe he will find out where his father disappeared, whom he had not seen since childhood.

The basic gameplay is the same as the original game. We will beat, kick and, if you want, you can cheat too. But learning takes time, and it will take time to get to the top. Our task will be to plan the time as best as possible in order to acquire new abilities, improve performance, fight in matches, but even train in our own combat school.

Punch Club 2: Fast Forward will release later this year. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
