The Settlers is a brand that needs no introduction. This building IP has a number of successful parts behind it, but also moments that definitely cannot be considered successes. Volker Wertich is one of the creators of the first two volumes. Now this developer would like to present to the world a strategy that should be closer to the roots of the series than the current titles that represent it. Pioneers of Pagonia is set on procedurally generated maps where you build colonies made up of 40 buildings. Your inhabitants will be given the task of survival, for which they will be able to use up to 70 different types of raw materials. You can also count on diplomacy and a number of other mechanics.
The spiritual successor to The Settlers has no set release date yet. However, Pioneers of Pagonia is set to hit PC later this year as part of Early Access.
