Devolver Digital is a publishing company that has in its portfolio a number of games that may not seem attractive at first glance, but as a result often claim the title of game of the year. Their recently unveiled work is Bleak Sword DX, an action roguelike that does everything that was written in the previous lines. The game is based on Bleak Sword, which originally only appeared on mobile platforms.
Her story will take you through the twelve chapters featured in Bleak Sword, enriched with three new passages that introduce new levels and enemies. Each campaign must be unique thanks to the random campaign modifier. The cornerstone of Devolver Digital’s new version is fast-paced gameplay that lets you take down your enemies in a variety of ways. Death is supposed to be a frequent visitor here, but the best of you can become invulnerable and defeat all the bosses in one go. If you’re interested in Bleak Sword DX, you can test it out on PC as part of the Steam Festival Next. No release date has been set yet, the game will be released on PC and Nintendo Switch.
