Scars Above is an action game that is a lot like Returnal. The main character, scientist Kate, begins her journey through a vast alien world. In it, she wakes up alone in front of an almost endless horde of enemies that she has the opportunity to face with both fire and melee weapons. The way to get to the new equipment is very original.
The idea of obtaining items here is based on the collection and subsequent research of local flora and the remains of dead fauna. You then research them in the lab and turn them into deadly new tools, which you then use to exterminate local populations of all shapes and sizes. The Scars Above release date is set for February 28, 2023 when the game hits PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox X/S.
