Epic Games wants to have from Unreal Engine 5 universal technologywhich is suitable for the development of any game. It’s no secret that Unreal Engine 4 had problems with large open worlds. With the successor of the new version of the engine, this problem is fixed. The evidence is, among other things, participation of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED, which Unreal Engine 5 uses for the new Wizardor Crystal Dynamics studios with the new Tomb Raider.

To this day, we also knew about the team from Coalition. The creators of the Gears series on Unreal Engine 5 are creating a new AAA project that should become another shooter. But there are many more companies using UE5. This is evidenced by the photo shared by Geoff Keighley, in which we see the logos of such large companies as Sony (Game console), Microsoft (xbox) 2K games as well as Tencent Games.

We also see logos codemastersLife is Strange of Dontnodu, Haven Studios led by Jade Raymond, Sumo Digital, East Games, Transmission, Supermassive Games, Yager, Means, Focus or Rebel wolves.

I would like to attach a logo PlayStation VR2 and Czech studies Madfinger Gameswhich, after mobile projects, is preparing a realistic and hardcore computer first-person shooter.

The picture also confirms earlier assumptions, namely that Studios Electronic Arts and Ubisoft are likely to remain with their engines. In EA’s case it’s DICE’s Frostbite, and in Ubisoft’s case it’s Massive Entertainment’s Snowdrop.
