The Great War: Western Front is a strategy game set in the World War I era. The whole will offer you two levels of gameplay. The first is turn-based, where as a commander you plan a strategy, generate new technologies, place units and look for gaps in the enemy’s defenses. Every mistake can mean a breakthrough, so you should always remember that your strength is limited and failure can mean the end.
After properly planning the situation, there will always be a combat phase in which hundreds, maybe thousands of units clash. Watch artillery work, infantry sorties and tanks rolling across a landscape altered by artillery fire and air action.
The release date for The Great War: Western Front is currently set for March 30, 2023 when it arrives on PC. If you pre-order, you’ll be able to queue up as early as March 27 through Early Access.
