The 2019 sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was due out on March 17th. However, today the date was pushed back, fortunately, by only a month and a few days. The new date is set to 04/28/2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Origin/EA and Steam app).

They’re considering six extra weeks at Respawn essentialto bring Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to the level that fans deserve.

“Over the past three years, the Jedi team at Respawn have poured their heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we are proud to say that the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ story is complete. We are now fully focused on the final phase: bug fixes that will improve performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, player experience.” the studio said in a statement.

“Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to our community’s feedback, offering extensive avenues to explore, expanded combat and travel, and of course continuing Cal and BD’s story. Making this game really made our team a better team and we’ve worked hard at every level to make it the Star Wars sequel our fans have come to expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games.”

“Thank you to EA and Respawn for giving us the time to provide our players with the best experience, and to all of you for your understanding. Let the force be with you,” added Stig Asmussen, who prior to joining Respawn was Head of Development for God of War 3 at Sony Santa Monica and then Head of Development for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
