The Last of Us will get a second season

HBO representatives through their official channels announced that the recently launched series based on The Last of Us series of games will receive a second season. We have just received official confirmation. less than two weeks after the premiere of the first episode introductory series. However, given the very positive reception and high viewership, this is not such a surprise.

The Last of Us series by number of viewers in the HBO offer hard to find competition. The first episode has already been watched by more than 18 million viewers. The subsequent second episode was watched by 5.7 million viewers on the night of the premiere alone. Episode 3 will premiere on Monday, January 30th at 3:00 a.m. ET.

Since the first series mainly covers the plot of the first game, it can be assumed that the second series will focus on the events that happened in The Last of Us Part II.
