The King’s Dilemma is an excellent record that definitely deserves to be transferred to the virtual world. However, if you’re planning to play the soon-to-be-released The King’s Dilemma: Chronicles with friends, you might be a little disappointed. This is a single player experience. The story-driven campaign takes you to the kingdom of Ankist, where you essentially become the head of a royal council tasked with advising the monarch on his path to power. Over 300 different options await you on your way to fame or an execution log that you use to determine the shape of the empire and the surrounding kingdoms.
The story itself should take about 3-4 hours and be completed by a total of twelve dissenting clans. The replay value is supposed to be high, so the story rarely ends the same as last time. The King’s Dilemma: Chronicles releases January 30 on PC.
