Studio social media manager Mundfish today his hands are busy. He was the first to tweet the company’s statement regarding allegations related to Russia and the war in Ukraine. He later answered a question about How atomic heart will work on current generation consoles.

As you see for yourself, the word war never appeared in the statement. This is also pointed out by Sergey Mokhov, a developer at Remedy, who also points out that the protagonist of Atomic Heart is a “good” KBG agent and takes place in an alternate timeline where Russia defeated Nazi Germany in World War II and became a world power. In this case you can’t be apolitical. Moreover, at a time when a residential building was destroyed as a result of a Russian terrorist attack and 40 people died.

HOW WILL ATOMIC HEART WORK ON PS5 AND XBOX SERIES X/S?
We previously learned that the developers ripped apart Unreal Engine with a can opener to make Atomic Heart work on older consoles. But at the time, there were no details on how the game would work on current generation consoles. That’s all changes.
If you are playing Atomic Heart on prefix 5 or Xbox Series X, so in underground locations they promise “solid” 60 frames per second in 4K resolution. In the open world, it should be “mostly” 4K with dynamic resolution and 60fps.

How will it be on Xbox Series Sd. is still a mystery. Even the owners can’t be sure yet steam deck. The authors have stated that they will try to make support available on the first day, but they cannot confirm this yet.
Atomic Heart will release on February 21, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On the same day, the game will be available as part of Game Pass for PC and Xbox consoles.
