Beyond Good and Evil is still in development, says Ubisoft.

Good news. Beyond Good and Evil 2 survived the rampage of Ubisoft: since July 2022, the French company has canceled at least seven different projects. He now assures that the oft-delayed action-adventure sequel Beyond Good and Evil is still in development.

“Development on Beyond Good and Evil 2 continues and the team is hard at work to deliver on their ambitious promises,” the post reads. A Ubisoft spokesperson told PCGamesN.

We have read similar statements regarding this game from Ubisoft several times, as development is being delayed, and behind-the-scenes anecdotal information is not at all positive. It seems to be the title still at an early stage of development and should have been reloaded inside. Likely after main creator Michel Ancel left Ubisoft in 2020.

Ubisoft last said that Beyond Good and Evil 2 would be released by March 2024. But if the news turns out to be true, then you will have to wait at least another year. It’s already Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the longest-running video game in development. Duke Nukem Forever has been under management for less than 15 years, the Ubisoft project was announced back in 2008. The game went on hiatus after 2009 to return at E3 2017.

Ubisoft is also experiencing similar issues with Skull and Bones. The pirate event has been postponed six times.
