Remaster of the fourth part of the Japanese horror fatal frame subtitled Lunar Eclipse Mask will be released already 9th of March. Now we have a seven-minute gameplay video, where they comment on the passage of locations. Rogetsu Hall producer Jutaka Futai and head of original game development Makoto Shibata.

The graphics, including the character models, have received some of the most fundamental improvements, but Futaja points to other changes as well. For better orientation in the environment the authors reworked the control and movement of the camera. They placed more sound objects in the environment because, according to Shibata, sound is the theme of the game.

Next, the authors describe the main mechanics of the game with photographing enemy ghosts in the foreground. “I’ve never been able to photograph a ghost in real life,” says Shibata, detailing his dreams that inspired him.

Fatal Frame: Lunar Eclipse Mask was released in 2008, six years earlier than its successor Maiden of Black Water, which had been updated a year earlier. I Mask of the Lunar Eclipse takes a fresh look at PC, Nintendo Switch and both generations of consoles Xbox and Game console. First of all, it will also go to the Western market for the first time.
