Good news for all who are looking forward to Czech subtitles for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption II. Fan group Lokalizace.net today announced the completion of the translation.
So, all texts are translated. Now they will only be finalized, and the next big challenge in the form will follow internal testing. Only after that will the beta follow and at the end the release of the Czech language for everyone.

“Because we have done most of the video-based translation directly from the game, we are entering this stage with the hope that it will be relatively fast and with minimal corrections. We want to prepare the best possible localization for you, and this requires attention and time (especially if it’s leisure). However, we trust that your wait will not be too long. Some time ago it was revealed that Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 western contains 257,000 lines of text. To better imagine this, 11,263,944 characterswhich is about 6300 standard pages of text (1 NS = 1800 characters).
“We will describe about 21 books with this text, which is not so little. Just imagine how long it will take you to read these 21 books, let alone translate them. And finally, we have one last comparison to the famous Harry Potter series. All 7 volumes contain something like 3675 NS text, so RDR2 is about 1.7 times bigger than this huge book series.” authors offer.
