Ubisoft’s Star Wars Game Should Be Official This Year

Currently under development a whole series of games from the Star Wars universe. We can mention, for example, Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse, Aspyr’s remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, or three different Star Wars games that Respawn is working on.

However, the release of most of the upcoming titles is still quite a long way off. An exception in this regard is the action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from the aforementioned Respawn Entertainment studio, which will be released in March. However, according to the latest information, it seems that we will hear more this year also about the upcoming Star Wars game about Ubisoft.

On one’s own Twitter he pointed out that creative director Julian Gerity, which invites players to join the adventure this year. According to him, 2023 should be a really important year for the studio. If there are no serious problems in development, we can assume that the game will be officially presented this year.

From the information available, we know that it development takes place in the Swedish studio Massive Entertainment, which in recent years has brought two installments to the Tom Clancy’s The Division series. It is with The Division that the game will have a common Snowdrop engine and an open world setting.

Under Massive Entertainment, with the exception of Star Wars games at the moment. the name Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is still in the makingwhich, according to the latest information, should arrive between April this year and March 2024. A project from the Star Wars universe is likely to come out no earlier than the fall of 2024 or no earlier than 2025.
