This year, as in previous games, everything went exceptionally well. This time, FIFA 23 completely dominated the charts. However, it was not the only sports game that managed to become one of the top-selling games of the JRC store. Third place was also taken by FIFA 22. The second place went to God of War Ragnarok, which, as one of the hits of this year, could not help but enter the top 10 Czech players, although it appeared only in November. As for the fourth place, it belongs to Horizon Forbidden West, which hides Grant Theft Auto V.

Both established brands and newcomers performed very well. Next to really significant projects, such as FIFA 23, Elden Ring or Gran Turismo 7, for example, Polda 7 was placed, in the case of which few people expected it due to some aspects, which is also confirmed by JRC’s comment. marketing specialist Piotr Kratochvil: “We are pleased that Pold has succeeded in such strong competition. And even in the context of the fact that the authors of the seventh part of Polda fought piracy from the very beginning“.

On the contrary, it is not surprising that the best-selling console of the year was the PlayStation 5, followed by the Nintendo Switch. However, as Piotr Kratochvil himself notes:By the end of the year, the availability of the PlayStation 5 had improved significantly, and we also began shipping it to stores.As you can see, overall it has been a very productive year, so I hope the next one will be just as successful.
