Vampire Survivors is currently a hit but is out of early access. However, there are a number of projects in early access that are doing just as well as the vampire event. One of them without a doubt is Brotato, which made it to the top 10 launches of 2022 on the Steam client. Visually, this wilderness is very reminiscent of The Binding of Isaac, which also seems inconspicuous, but at the moment you dive into it, you are offered an experience that is really hard to tear yourself away from.
Judging by the reviews on Steam, Brotato is as addictive as The Binding of Isaac or Vampire Survivors. You are a shipwrecked potato in an unknown world full of threats trying to eliminate it. The full version of this work should appear within the next year, when the game leaves early access on PC. Let’s hope that the creators manage to maintain positive ratings, currently reaching 97% positive reactions.
