A more powerful model for a successful console Nintendo Switch will not be. Japanese company apparently Switch Pro actually planned, but then decided to focus on the next generation console.
This may be a disappointment to many fans as speculation about the Nintendo Switch Pro has been circulating the internet for several years now. However, interviews with the developers show that Nintendo’s plans have changed. At least that’s what John Linneman of Digital Foundry found out.

The official announcement of the new console from Nintendo se not expected in 2023. If only for the reason that the long-awaited adventure will come out The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the continuation of the hit Breath of the Wild. This could be the end of the Switch’s success, which has sold over 114 million units and is the company’s third best-selling console.
So Switch 2, the hybrid console’s successor, would make sense. Although, according to Linneman, Nintendo will have to come up with something that will be perceived as something more than just a Switch upgrade. One of the biggest drawbacks of the Wii U was that too many casual gamers thought it was just a tablet to enhance their Wii, so they didn’t want to invest in something that only looked like a controller.
