Due to Sony’s actions, some games will not be available to Xbox players.

According to Microsoft, the offer of new games from Square Enix will be noticeably poorer than those on competing Sony consoles. According to Microsoft, the owner of the PlayStation stable has signed contracts that will prevent upcoming Square Enix stuff from coming to Xbox. For example, Octopath Traveler 2, the first part of which can be found on Game Pass, is supposed to be out of the game. Similarly, owners of this console can’t count on Final Fantasy VII Remake or Forspoken. At least for now, their release on Xbox consoles is unclear. However, it is possible that the game has a temporary exclusivity, after which the mentioned works will also go to the Microsoft platform.

However, next year Xbox is not going to give up exclusives. In total, its fans can look forward to at least three exclusive projects that will target both this console and PC, because as Microsoft has long represented in the context of the dispute over the purchase of Activision Blizzard, its desire to bring games to the largest possible audience.
