Version fan-made Czech dubbing Kingdom Come: Deliverance approached considerably. And if the publishing company Plaion (formerly Koch Media) approves this, then dubbing can also make its way into the console versions of the medieval role-playing game.
The authors announced the status of dubbing on the eve of Christmas. They summarized the Facebook post in five points:
– Dubbing as such is fully voiced (including cut scenes + in-game replicas)
– The dub was processed, submitted and tested, but there were a few erroneous lines that were not correctly cut by the script and therefore must be exported manually.
– The volume in the in-game cut scenes needs to be adjusted, as it turned out that in the game they work a little differently than normal lines.
– In Warhorse, a person is currently working on embedding and encoding new audio tracks into video clips (movies), and then adding Czech to the source files as a new language.
– In the future, testing will take place on the side of Plaion (the original name of Koch Media), which will evaluate the whole thing and decide on the release date, whether the project will be implemented on the console and so on.
“Believe me, we work hard and none of us relax” we will add the authors by the fact that dubbing this year will definitely not work. He sees a likely release date in January or February 2023..
