That The Witcher: Blood Bond would be something that would have nothing to do with a well-known brand or even the universe that the short series called itself was more or less clear from the first trailer. However, a number of people gave this new product a chance, saying they would find something in it that could interest fans of the cult series of games and books. Judging by the reviews collected on Rotten Tomatoes, the serial novelty was not very successful. It received just 38% from critics, while the community was even harsher than the reviewers at 8%.

The result is frankly deplorable, but it is even sadder when compared to The Witcher 2019, which scored 81% from the experts and did not treat the fans from the ranks of the public so badly, considering 79%. Criticism of The Witcher: Bloodbond also falls on Metacritic, where user ratings absolutely crush it. And what is the main problem? The main thorn in the side of most is the departure from the concept created by Andrzej Sapkowski. However, there seem to be more errors. Only the quality of the effects, together with the setting, should be decent, which in the end is quite a bit. However, not everyone is on a negative wave, according to some, this is a more acceptable experience than watching The Ring of Power.
The new The Witcher will definitely give hardcore fans goosebumps, but I really liked it. Actually more than the more epic Rings of Power.
The Brave Seven concept works great here, and the first Grass Trial was also very successful. Four parts just right. pic.twitter.com/V9vAbCyomn— Martin Schovanec (@schovanec) December 26, 2022
