Ubisoft is testing an alpha version of a mobile game Assassin’s Creed released more players. Thanks to this, more videos are getting onto the Internet, which are also of much better quality, so we can get a better idea of the Jade project.
The first videos appeared on the Internet over the weekend (we wrote about it here). In today’s footage, we can get a good look at the game from the very beginning, including creating your own hero. Choice of man or woman. Further four different presets, which can be further edited. You can choose, for example, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hairstyle, eye color, scars and beard.
After downloading the necessary data, the player finally enters the game. Appears on the great Wall of China and we have the opportunity to see what’s on the weekend, i.e. running, jumping, climbing, fighting and movies.
As we wrote earlier, the fight seems easy with two touch buttons, one to attack and one to dodge. Special attacks are added to them. They will be especially useful in battles with a large number of enemies. From this point of view, the Chinese Assassin’s Creed is such a plagiarism. Not to mention the boss fight.
At the end of the first video (at the very top) we have the option look at the map. The second video shows interiors, tutorial video, hero upgrade, archery and crossbow shooting and tracking. Third video after hunting down and killing wolves confirms horseback riding, as well as stealth.
The footage is making a good impression so far. It looks like the full-fledged Assassin’s Creed, set in ancient China, is coming to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. I hope microtransactions, which are not in the current version, will not spoil the impression.
The release date of the game is currently unknown. But it will free game.
