Border crossings will vary in size and complexity. From small border crossings located high in the mountains between Bulgaria and Serbia, to large crossings in Horgosh; each border crossing is unique in its own way. The creators have made these transitions as realistic as possible. What follows is more than 130 asset leaks, new vehicle models and characters that patrol and work on the borders.
The developers recommend visiting the border crossing between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is divided by a bridge across the river. It’s still part of the whole project creating 10 border crossings between existing countries in Euro Truck Simulator 2. These are Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria and Italy. Three of these borders are part of the Schengen area and do not require a stopover.
The Western Balkans expansion does not currently have a set release date. Instead it happened in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator on the possibility of creating dedicated servers. More details on the official website.
