Frictional Games has announced a sequel to the horror game Amnesia. The new episode, subtitled “Bunker”, will bring significant changes. The developers promise semi-open world with a minimum of scripted events. The result should be the most open part of the series, in which the exploration of the environment itself will be an important part.
However, as you explore different areas, according to the authors, you will face a constant threat. In terms of gameplay, the title boasts combination of action and hidden passages, which corresponds to the equipment. A flashlight will play a role in silent progress. If, on the other hand, you need to defend yourself, then the revolver comes into play.
The authors also appeal to the possibility of choice in solving individual problems and high replayability. The plot of the game will take you to dark bunker from World War Iin which you will follow in the footsteps of a French soldier.
Amnesia: Bunker will be released in March 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. You can watch the introductory trailer above in the preview. In addition to the three-part Amnesia series, Frictional Games has also released the three-part Penumbra series and the highly acclaimed survival horror SOMA in the past.
