The game came out in January of this year. Rise of the monster hunter on PC and is no longer exclusive to Nintendo Switch. The game will arrive on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at the end of the first month of 2023, Capcom announced, adding a new trailer (above).
The release date is set for January 20, 2023. On the same date, the game will also be available through Game Pass for Xbox and PC. Sunbreak extension it will hit new platforms sometime in the spring of 2023.
Unfortunately Capcom has no plans to cross-save and cross-play, so if you’ve already played dozens, if not hundreds, of hours on Switch, 4K resolution, 60fps, and 3D audio on PS5 and Xbox Series X probably won’t make you start hunting again. DualSense controller adaptive triggers confirmed on PS5.
Monster Hunter Rise is the latest addition to the popular RPG series. Set in the ninja-inspired village of Kamura, the storyline has you discovering the local rich fauna and flora and fighting menacing monsters to become the ultimate hunter.
