CD Projekt RED prepares for the release of a new generation of RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt since 2015, finally gained momentum. Last week, the creators held a livestream in which they offered us the first samples and information, in the last few days several screenshots have been released, which you will find not only in this article. After this news, the players and fans themselves began to create interesting comparison newly released footage of the original version of the game.

But that’s not all, as the developers have also updated the official website of The Witcher 3 in preparation for the release of the update, which will take place on December 14th. It now contains various materials designed specifically for those who are going to get acquainted with The Witcher 3 for the first time and who has not played the previous parts of the trilogy, ie. in games Witcher since 2007 and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (2011).

You can find it in the history section. basic information about several characters that are key to the game’s story. In particular, these are Geralt of Rivia, Ciri, Yennefer, Emhyra var Emreis, Eredin, Triss Ranunculus and Vesemir. But even more interesting a timeline that mentions the most important moments and events that happened in the first and second games of The Witcher..

The good news is that all these materials have been translated into Czech. Unfortunately, in the Czech version for some reason there is a noticeable error at the very first point of the timeline. While the English original correctly states that only Warlock Leo died during the attack by the Salamander faction’s forces on the fortress of Kaer Morhen at the beginning of the original Witcher, in Czech we read that several young witches died during the battle. What nonsense.

It is very likely that this error was present in the original version of the texts sent for translation, which was subsequently corrected by CD Projekt RED, but the other language versions were not corrected. A similar situation in the past has resulted in, for example, minor differences in the translation of The Witcher 3.. In any case, the error regarding poor Leo should be noted, and we didn’t find any other inaccuracies either in the rest of the timeline or in the character overview.

It can also be assumed that all the events described in the timeline will be seen in the upcoming remake., which is being prepared by Fool’s Theory studio in collaboration with CD Projekt RED. It probably doesn’t make much sense for the creators to release the official timeline now, only to rewrite it again a few years later to accommodate changes in the remake. Quite possibly, here we have the first sign that the Unreal Engine 5 remake will retain at least the most important plot moments that we could experience back in 2007. By the way, we already know that it will offer a full-fledged open world. .

CD Projekt RED seems to be continuing the studio’s 20th anniversary celebrations and starting over with the release of artwork related to the work of the Polish studio. inspired by the style of classical authors. We now have an image of Geralt styled Vincent Van Gogh.
