Released in 2013, the indie document checking game Papers, Please became an absolute hit, so much so that it soon spawned various “clones”. It was all the more surprising that only one developer stood behind it – Lucas Pope, who 5 years later released the detective game Return of the Obra Dinn, which turned out to be perhaps even more successful. But then Pope returned to Papers, Please and released a version for Android and iOS this August. Now the game has received a new update that adds Korean, Turkish and most importantly Czech.
It was created back in 2014, taken care of by YouTuber Tomas2886 and his friend Datastor, who sadly passed away last year.
