Dead Island 2 it was again deferred. The delay is 12 weeks and the new release date is set for now. April 28, 2023.
Information comes directly from game developers via their official Twitter account. The tweet read: “The delay is only 12 weeks and development is now in its final stages. Dead Island 2’s new release date will be April 28, 2023.”
Alongside the tweet is an image with the text: “We have important information to share, so we’re removing the Band-Aid now. We’ve made the decision to delay Dead Island 2. The new release date will be April 28, 2023. . The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is clear to us and no doubt they were just as disappointed as you. The delay is only 12 short weeks and development is currently in its final stages: we will take the time we need to make sure we can make a game we can be proud of. Thank you for being patient with us, for those who have waited for years.”
The image then continues: “In the meantime, we’ll be posting a post. exciting new trailer and gameplay On the Dead Island 2 Showcase, which will air on our Twitch and YouTube channel and the Dead Island website on December 6, 2022.”
Therefore, we will be able to see the game in action very soon, but the release has been delayed. As the developers noted, many players have been waiting for years, so this 12 weeks is not an incredible amount of time.
Among the newer Dead Island 2-themed innovations, we’ve found that weapons will break with use, but the game will be generous with equipment.
