Games from Ubisoft are returning to the most popular computer platform. The French publishing company has confirmed to British Eurogamer that it will launch the adventure game on Steam. Assassin’s Creed Valhallaurban strategy 1800 and free sports education Roller Champions.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will go on sale on Steam from December 6 this year. It’s a big day for Ubisoft’s latest hit as it releases final update of The Last Chapter, which will connect some storylines and complete your stay in the Ravenclan tribe. The other two games will be added at a later date, no date yet.
In 2019, Ubisoft spokesman Chris Early in an interview with the New York Times. criticized the Steam business model and called it unreal. This comment was likely related to the revenue split, where Valve gets up to 30% and 70% goes to the publisher, while the Epic Games Store gives companies 88%. Back then, Ubisoft’s PC versions were available exclusively through Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store.
“We are constantly evaluating how to bring our games closer to different user groups, wherever they are, while providing a unified ecosystem for players through Ubisoft Connect,” This was reported to Eurogamer by a representative of Ubisoft. “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Anno 1800 and Roller Champions are among the Ubisoft games to be released on Steam.”
