In construction simulators, we had to build a colony and survive everywhere, including an alien Mars and a devastated Earth. After Surviving Mars and Surviving the Aftermath, Paradox Interactive presents players with yet another challenge. In the newly introduced game Survival in the abyss players go below sea level.
Outside in 1976. The Cold War is in full swing and you are tasked with building and managing deep sea research facility and the team of oceanologists needed for this. You are tasked with perfecting the human cloning process. This requires scientists who conduct genetic experiments on the local fauna and flora at the bottom of the oceans. The problem is that you have to think not only about expanding the base and uncovering the secrets of cloning and genetic research, but also about oxygen, energy, food and much more. Otherwise no one will survive.
“Discover and mine resources to build, repel darkness, explore and expand your environment to advance your exploration. Capture the diverse, highly adapted flora and fauna of the depths, but beware: the darkness hides unexpected horrors that only light can contain.” adds a press release.
Surviving the Abyss is being developed by Rocket Flair Studios under the Paradox Arc banner. 01/17/2023 will be released in early access on Steam.
