Risen Coming to Console – Zing

Risen is a game from the developer Piranha Bytes, which is the spiritual successor to the Gothic series. As in it, we have a specific hero, an interesting world and a relatively rigid combat system. However, the main difference lies in the theme, because this work is not focused on the Middle Ages, but on the idea of ​​piracy in a fantasy universe. Now, more than ten years later, this work is returning to the stage. However, not as a remaster, but as a console port. More precisely, for the old generation consoles, in addition to which the Nintendo Switch will receive it. This is certainly good news for fans of this work, and given her age, she may also perform very well on this hardware.

Risen’s release date is set for February 24th, when the game launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It is doubtful whether it will also be available on the next generation of consoles, but on Friday it will be available to play on PC.
