Noblechairs Legend Series Review 2022 – Sophisticated Gaming Chair Comfort

Noblechairs’ Legend Series is the culmination of decades of gaming chairs from rival Secretlab. His goal is to combine all the back seats into one stylish package that turns any kind of over-the-top design into a chair that may not be flashy but is as functional as it sounds.

As someone who has experienced quite a few office chairs, I can tell you that unlike the best gaming chair, Noblechairs’ Legend series is rather modest. It comes in a lighter box than expected, so two people are recommended. I managed this in just an hour and some pretty nifty balancing steps, but I’ll definitely take Noblechairs’ advice and find another pair of hands to hold some of the larger pieces in place. It comes with a hex key and honestly that’s all you need, none of the complex parts are assembled so you just need to snap a few pieces together and tighten a few screws.

Design

Noblechairs Legend manages to combine a simple and clean design with ergonomic efficiency. There are a few basic color options that will look right at home in any gaming office, as well as a Spider-Gwen-themed black, red, and white color scheme. I chose black and it matches my setup perfectly.

Compared to many other gaming chairs, the Legend series is about as modest as it gets. In fact, it’s even slimmer than previous Noblechairs. But I’m not a fan of fancy chairs that look like they belong in a Jackson Pollock painting if he lived in Cyberpunk 2077; I would prefer something simple.

What sets the Legend series apart from Noblechairs is that leather is not the only option. There is the option of soft fabric and a special material for the white model, which also facilitates cleaning. The black version is also high quality, the leather and stitching expertly combined to create a stylish seat, so I’m assuming the other options are the same.

The functions

Noblechairs Legend is a no-frills office and gaming chair. However, there are some places where it doesn’t work. While lower back lumbar support in a chair is fine on its own, the little pillow you’re given is terribly uncomfortable. For me, it was too small to give me any significant support and was uncomfortable at any height on the back of a chair. A head pillow is much better, especially when your back is only against the chair, but if you’re investing in the best chair pillow, a head pillow isn’t much of a deal.

It’s also a shame that Noblechairs haven’t caught up with Secretlabs on the use of magnetic cushions, as they’re much easier to juggle and look better without the straps interfering with the aesthetics of the chair, but that’s not it. a decisive decision. factor.

Without cushions though, the chair is quite comfortable. You can easily sink into it and sit upright, which is great for long gaming sessions.

Despite the simplicity, there is a lot to be said for the armrests. You can adjust them up or down, left to right, and at an angle as you use the controller and your hands get closer. Despite the lack of cushioning, they’re also very comfortable and allow your hands to stay flush with your wrists when typing, which is a blessing.

It also has all the classic chair customization elements: height adjustment, back angle adjustment, and incredibly smooth casters that make moving around the office or gaming space much easier than expected.

The only real problem I have with the design of the chair itself is the levers. The lower ones feel flimsy, as the plastic casing that covers the metal adjusters can easily come loose and fall to the floor, while the side handle that lets you change the angle of the seatback can feel a bit stiff by comparison.

Comfort

The foam under the outer shell makes the chair bouncy and comfortable, which doesn’t fight with the shape of your body, but rather conforms to it.

What is clear, however, is that the Noblechairs Legend is designed with some small but impressive ergonomic features in mind. Lumbar support, armrests, head pillow, and foam combine to create an unassuming gaming chair that’s lighter than expected, even if the lumbar pillow doesn’t support your weight.

Verdict

The Noblechairs Legend series is an excellent choice for gaming and office chairs. It’s a high-quality build with a user-friendly design and materials that replace anything too flashy with a simple yet effective design. It’s not perfect, but it’s a useful entry into an already strong portfolio of seats. You can read more about the legend on the Noble Chairs website.

Priced at $689 / £459.95 / €539.90 for the black version, this isn’t a cheap chair, but the high build quality and ease of setup and use mean this chair should be on your radar. .

The legend of the noble chairs

A versatile and comfortable gaming chair that’s expensive and lacks a cushion set, but the quality of the design and customization options more than make up for the price.
