Some collector’s editions of God of War Ragnarok arrived without a game

God of War Ragnarok was a highly anticipated game, so people lined up midnight to pick up the Collector’s Editions. Some owners were even more disappointed. After purchasing the edition for $200, which is less than 5,000 crowns, fans found that everything was included except for the most important thing, namely the game itself.

Some fans have been tweeting that their Collector’s Edition arrived intact, but when they excitedly opened up the location where the code for the digital version of the game should have been, it wasn’t there. And if there was any other code, it was a couple of DLC packs that were also included in standard pre-orders. For a change, another user mentions that the box didn’t come with the game at all. So the logical step was to complain. But since these were items that disappeared immediately, the only way was to get a refund and fans would miss out on the special items.

There is no solution yet, the only thing that fans can do is write to Santa Monica developer support and not repeat the same step as a Call of Duty fan who went to Activision offices to ask what the problem is. This is not the first issue with collector’s editions, there have been many cases on the internet where the collector’s edition of The Last of Us 1 arrived shabby and without any protection.
