Dark Souls Remastered: PC Servers Back Online, FromSoftware Confirmed

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware officially announced Online features of Dark Souls Remastered they have been restore on pc. This means players can finally return to playing online to do PvP and summon allies.

Recall that months ago players discovered: Dark Souls 3 that it is possible to execute malicious code on other users’ computers using online functions. This caused FromSoftware to take all games in the saga offline in February 2022.

In August 2022 FromSoftware re-enabled Dark Souls 3’s online functions. They re-enabled online functions in October 2022. Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Now it’s finally Dark Souls Remastered’s turn. But keep in mind that the original game on the PC version, namely the remastered version of Dark Souls, will never be fixed and will remain offline forever.

Let’s assume that a large part of the public has long since migrated to Dark Souls Remastered; Several interesting mods are also being developed for these mods, such as Nighfall, which is a direct continuation of the first part of the saga.

In any case, it’s unfortunate that the original game won’t be able to come online again, as even such players pay for such features.

Dark Souls is a beloved saga and even now the first episode is playing, but many are waiting for news about Elden Ring. A DLC is in great demand, and it seems clear, especially after some discoveries from data miners who said that up to 30 new bosses could come with the DLCs.
