Prague-based studio Dire Badger has officially unveiled its first game called Vranygrai today. The genre is action-adventure with RPG elements. The plot of the game takes place in the period and time before the creation of Great Moravia. Developers attract personal history of the protagonistin which an important role will be played by historical realities and events that led to the creation of the first Slavic state in Central Europe – Great Moravia.
“The player finds himself in the shoes of a Slavic priest, in the ancient language called the wolf. He loses his sister after being attacked by the rest of the Avar army. Feeling that he has failed as both a brother and a protector, he embarks on a journey of redemption, a journey of finding answers and culprits. However, perhaps he himself is to blame and there is more hidden in his past than one would expect from a priest. the authors describe the history of the story.
Vranyplay is conceived as a trilogy, gradually maps the entire state of Great Moravia. In the first part we will visit the area of Polyana and visit Kalamarca, Zvolen and the surrounding estates. From the point of view of the composition of the world, it has the name offer a semi-open world, which the authors liken, for example, to the Gothic series. The developers also beckon with a lively combat system inspired by modern games and a rich arsenal of historical weapons. Then the skill system should be based on mythology.
In history you can look forward to linear main line as well as side quests full of rich dubbed dialogue, twists and suspense. There are also tasks with a choice that will affect the progress of their implementation. The Dire Badger studio consists of three developers who are developing the Vranygrai game on the Unity engine.
She’s been off the platforms so far PC version confirmed. It is reported that development is currently in early alpha, so we will have to wait a while before the final product.
