Yesterday, 343 Industries released the highly anticipated. Winter Update from Halo Infiniteimportant update introducing to beat maps and rewards for multiplayer as well as in beta and online co-op campaign. The launch of the patch was accompanied by an official trailer presenting the news to players.
There joint campaign so it is finally available and supports cross play, which means PC and Xbox players can play together. Progress, including collectibles, is shared by all participating players. In addition, 24 brand new missions related to the campaign have been added.
When it comes to Halo Infinite multiplayer, the standout innovation is undoubtedly to beatpowerful editor that allows players to create maps and mods and then share them with the rest of the community.
Then there’s a new one Battle Passes Completely free and with no expiration date, featuring 30 tiers of rewards, including Halo Reach themed cosmetic items. The Winter Contingency events will also return in December, while the Common Fire, focusing on the JFO-class Mjolnir armor and other cosmetic items, will arrive in January.
But that’s not all, as Halo Infinite’s Winter Update introduces two. Arcyle and Platoon maps and the Convert One Flag mode, a variant where attackers and defenders will regularly switch roles during the match. Also new is Match XP: based on player feedback, it rewards players who complete matches with additional XP for performance (eg win/lose, endgame ranking, etc.).
