Composer Sara Schachner completed collaboration with Infinity Ward, the authors of the latest Call of Duty subtitled Modern Warfare 2. According to her, the reason is “increasingly demanding collaboration with the sound engineer” and that she and her team have no control over the final look of the soundtrack.
A day after the release of the game, she answered questions about why the soundtrack was not released along with the title. “These things are out of my control. If it depended on me, he would no longer exist, ”she wrote on twitter. In the current statement, he develops the idea: “I have no control over how the music is presented in the game, and when it comes to mixing and mastering, the soundtrack will not reflect the artistic intent.”

The composer reiterates that he has no information about when and in what form the soundtrack for Modern Warfare 2 will be released, specifying that he will also no longer be involved in the music for Warzone.. But in the end, he appreciates the hard work of the engineers and highlights some of the musicians we’ll hear on the recordings.
