In September of this year, CD Projekt announced the return of the Witcher series. In October, we subsequently learned that a whole new trilogy was waiting for us. It was also revealed that the first game with the working title Project Polaris is currently in pre-production.
Today we will learn the name of the person who is at the head of this project. This is Sebastian Kalemba, who personally Twitter reported that the development is under preparation he directs the witcher sagas from the position of game director.
Sebastian Kalemba joined the Polish studio in October 2014. In the early years he worked lead animator of The Witcher 3 and his data disks. He partially held the same position during the development of Cyberpunk 2077. Subsequently, he was appointed head of the animation department for the entire CD Projekt. He also served as creative director for over a year.
Kalemba’s career growth may be related to the recent departure of Konrad Tomashkevichwho, as a game director, participated in the development of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
