It’s been about two weeks since the release of the medieval adventure game A Plague Tale: Requiem. The second part of the adventures of Hugo and Amicia received from us an excellent 9 out of 10 points in the review, while the main complaint was poor optimization, which we discussed in detail in the technical analysis. However, since then, many players have already tried the game, so much so that the game has already passed its first significant milestone, publisher Focus Entertainment announced on Twitter.
The magic limit is 1 million players. But I must add that we are really talking about the number of players, and not about the copies sold, because the game is available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox consoles. In any case, this is a very strong start. Compared to number one (and it wasn’t on Game Pass on release day), it reached 1 million (but I’ll note sold copies) in July 2020, i.e. more than a year after release.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and in the cloud on Nintendo Switch.
Over a million players have already embarked on an incredible journey with Amicia and Hugo in #APlagueTaleRequiem.
