Stores Sell God of War: Ragnarok Previously

The release of one of the most anticipated games of this year is scheduled for November 9th. However, social media and discussion forums over the weekend filled with photos and videos of people playing God of War: Ragnarok. Some are not even protected and posted on the Internet major spoilers from the second part, which just spoils the impressions for everyone else. Some videos on YouTube are already gaining millions of views.

God of War: Ragnarok hit players early on from unspecified stores. They started selling the game 10 days before launch. It is clear that the developers are unhappy with the situation. Corey Barlog, head of development for God of War 2018 and creative director of Sony’s Santa Monica studio, is disappointed and frustrated. At the same time, he apologized to the fans, who have to avoid spoilers before the release of the game.

In a tweet, Barlog mentioned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. For this highly anticipated game, Activision na gave the physical disk only to the installer. Matt Sophos, director of the God of War Ragnarok story, again recommends stay away from social media, Reddit, YouTube, etc. and block hashtags and people on Twitter.

The studio itself also commented. This is a request to those who already have the game to be considerate of other fans and not spread spoilers. “We’re doing our best to limit access to unapproved footage and screenshots, but the reality is that we can’t capture everything.” the team acknowledges.
