The original Dark Souls can no longer be played online on PC, but other installments come to life

In January of this year, we informed you about the shutdown of the servers of the PC versions of several parts of the Dark Souls series. Namely, it was about such games as Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls III. The reason for the shutdown was safety problemswhich allowed hackers to gain access to individual players’ computers via PvP servers.

In August, developers from From Software announced that once again launches servers for Dark Souls III. However, the situation has not changed for other games, and online services, including multiplayer, have remained banned for PC players.

With another update they are coming authors so far. The good news is that Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin servers launchwhich should soon be followed by the original second part.

According to the developers, Dark Souls: Remastered will also see the restoration of online services at an unspecified date. On the contrary, the original You can no longer play Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition online..
