Second dev diary (first here) expected God of War Ragnarok focuses on fights as well as enemies. In this episode, we’ll learn how the Sony Santa Monica team has improved smooth and expressive combat and the importance of creating a unique, memorable and various enemiesagainst which you can test your skills.
The aim of the developers was to combat is even more impressive, engaging but not disappointing. In the role of Kratos, you should feel like a god of war. He must feel its power and enjoy it properly.
Meanwhile, the creators listened to the wishes of the fans and prepared for Ragnarok. more enemies and many mini-bosses for a variety of fights.

The combat itself is significantly more brutal than in 2018’s God of War. Executions of enemies will be much more brutal, and Kratos will use his weapons in different ways against nothing.. Combat designer Mihir Sheth believes that the brutality makes certain aspects of the game more fun. They wanted to go back to what you could experience in God of War classics, like we didn’t enjoy Blades of Chaos in the first part of the reboot. This will change in Ragnarok.
On Twitter, the developers confirmed that photo mode will come later. We have yet to find out the details. We assume the same image editing options as in the previous part, including adding various filters, changing the distance to the camera, different aspect ratios, etc.
God of War: Ragnarok will be released on September 11 this year on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game will Czech subtitles.
Photo Mode will be coming to God of War Ragnarok post-launch – we’ll share more details closer to when we plan to release it.
We can’t wait to see all of your pictures as soon as they go live! https://t.co/IgSvlnzUbx
