A holiday of ghosts, carved pumpkins and fear. This is exactly the quite popular Anglo-Saxon holiday called Halloween, and in many games with various events it is almost inevitable. Overwatch 2 is no exception, and despite a bad start in the form of a long wait, we can look forward to the very first event. And no, it’s not a paraphrase of Junkenstein’s Revenge… although maybe a little.
With just three days left, Overwatch 2 will see a continuation of the Junkstein’s Revenge event that has been talked about several times already. The whole event is called Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride and it looks like Junkrat will be replacing Sombra as the main antagonist this time around. According to Blizzard President Mike Ybarra, the event will feature a brand new game mode.

We don’t have exact information about what will happen yet, but it definitely won’t do without new skins. You could already see Halloween themed skins for Kiriko, Sojourn and Junker Queen. But it definitely shouldn’t be a copier, according to what Blizzard’s president said. He wrote on Twitter:
“The Halloween event in Overwatch 2 introduces a brand new game mode. This is a sequel to Junkenstein’s Revenge.“
During the event, which starts on October 25, players will receive the power legendary reaper skin Damn captain as well as Weapon Amulet Free. It remains to be seen if this year’s event will be different from previous ones in the first Overwatch.

We also have good news for everyone who wants to play Overwatch 2. Bastion. This 10/10 disappeared from the game due to a series of bugs that caused his ult to offer unlimited shots.
