Expected PlayStation Exclusive God of War Ragnarok will allow you to take full advantage of the performance of Sony’s next-generation console. The words of the Santa Monica studio representatives are confirmed that the sequel is not so much about bringing big news, but tweak and improve what was in the previous game.
You’ll be able to play the second and final Scandinavian adventure Krata on PS5 in four different modes:
- Resolution: 4K and 30 FPS (Locked)
- Performance: 60 fps (Locked)
- High frame rate resolution – 4K and 40 fps (Locked)
- High frame rate performance – 120 fps target
The last two options require compatible TV/monitor with HDMI 2.1. The target resolution for these modes is unknown. We’ll find out later how God of War Ragnarok will work on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
On the PlayStation 5, support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers is a given.
God of War: Ragnarok will be released on November 9 this year on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game will have Czech subtitles.
