A Plague Tale Lament it turned out to be a complex game to manage as well as present and visually beautiful. While on consoles the game doesn’t go beyond 1440p and 30 FPS (40 FPS in 120 Hz mode), it’s clearly possible to scale performance further on PC. In the video above we see that ElAnalistaDeBits was able to achieve a resolution. 8K with frame rates over 70 FPSbut only with support DLSS 3.
Specifically, ElAnalistaDeBits is a Nvidia RTX4090An Intel i9-12900K and 32GB DDR5 RAM to run A Plague Tale Requiem. The video does not go beyond 4K, but the game is played in 8K and we can see the FPS number in the upper left. Frame count is not constant but overall above 70, various peaks towards 90 FPS.
This is an interesting result because as we showed you in the previous video, it always plays with an RTX 4090 but when using DLSS 2 in Quality mode the frame rate does not exceed 30 FPS.
