The events of the last few days have shown that 60 FPS on consoles is no longer a given. We first learned that Gotham Knights would only run at 30fps, and shortly after that it was revealed that A Plague Tale: Requiem is the same, so at least it offers the possibility of up to 40fps. We tested the game in technical analysis where you can see a more detailed frame rate analysis. However, now positive news has finally arrived, and the developers from the Striking Distance studio have become its authors.
They stated two important pieces of information on Twitter. First, the game on consoles will offer a performance mode that will run at 60fps. But we don’t know the exact details yet, so we don’t know on which devices this mode will be available. And secondly, the game will be released on schedule. So we don’t have to wait any longer.
