Konami accidentally revealed what games we’ll be seeing at today’s Silent Hill Transmission

Today there will be a live broadcast of the Japanese company Konami, which will finally present new projects from the Silent Hill series. However, through an oversight, we already knew what we would see. The names were revealed by ResetEra users who discovered the video tags in the code. So, if you want to be surprised, don’t read any further and wait until 23:00 when the broadcast starts. You can watch it on the official YouTube channel.

There are three projects in total and they are unlikely to surprise you with anything. The first of these is the long-awaited remake of Silent Hill 2, which is reportedly being worked on by the Polish studio Bloober Team. The next game should be Silent Hill: Ascension. It is not entirely clear what is being discussed here. But it looks like it’s either the shorter title we’ve known so far as “Sakura” from the leaks, or it’s a full-fledged sequel. The latest project is Return to Silent Hill, a new film directed by Christoph Gans.

Of the platforms in the code, only PlayStation and Steam are indicated. So it’s entirely possible that both games will become console exclusives, but we’ll have to wait for the details, of course.

The broadcast is expected to run for 48 minutes and 46 seconds, so we can probably look forward to a pretty solid chunk of content.
