Quite a lot of time was dedicated to the new game on Minecraft Live this year. Minecraft: Legends. The developers, of course, could not resist and opened up quite a lot from the game itself. In addition to the new trailer and the presentation of the game in the frame, we also managed to see a sample of the gameplay itself. While everything the game has to offer has definitely not been shown, we can already get some idea of ​​the combat style, gameplay, and of course the purpose of the entire Overworld.

Minecraft Legends is a new action-packed strategy game set in the world of Minecraft, but with its own rules. In addition to many new animals, such as the badger, here you will meet familiar creatures. Zombies, creepers and skeletons. All this can be found here, but there is one peculiarity. Everything you thought was an enemy will become your ally. A threat in the form of Piglins from Hell is heading to the Overworld, and they certainly don’t plan to leave your newly visited land alone. That is why you all must come together and stop the evil.

The conversations during Minecraft Live paid off. We learned that many of the new mobs in the game will remain legends and will make Therefore, they will not watch Minecraft. However, you, as the main character, at the very beginning will meet your guides, called the Master, who collect all the knowledge that the players from the original game have already been able to collect. Namely: Foresight, Action and Knowledge. They will accompany you on your way to saving the world. At the same time they will teach you how to use it the Flame of Creation to build structures, the Banner of Courage to give orders to comrades, and the magical Lute that summons alei creatures to dismantle things around you and collect building materials.

Of course, there will be multiplayer gameplay, thanks to which you will race around the world not alone, but in the company of friends. Thanks to the gameplay trailer, we also know that the power of friendship will be important. All the inhabitants of the Overworld are here for you, so that you can not only befriend all the creatures, but also create a rebirth stone that will allow you to summon even the most terrible monsters to fight the piglins. In particular, with the Spore Horde, a unique group of piglins with special abilities, skills, and designs.

The whole world is made more pleasant by beautiful nature, but the biomes themselves perform more functions here. We can even find a special one here lightning grass, which, when your mounts drive by, suddenly become faster. So riding a saber-toothed tiger can be a pleasant and cheerful experience.

Attacks on the Piglins’ base will be a combination of strategy and cooperation not only between the players, but also the correct use of your units. You are the leader of the whole action, and it is you who gives orders which part of which part of the fortress will attack. Or if you use your group or steal units from your teammate.
