The last thing that was decisive for the whole event was the voting for a new creature that will appear in the game. The choice was between Sniffer, Rascal and Tuff Golem. Many of you probably guessed that Tuff Golem was eliminated in the first round and the next with over half of the votes. Sniffer won. But what we have to mention is the official Minecraft server where you can vote. If you’ve been visiting here and researched a bit what’s hiding where, you might have stumbled upon a few interesting things. Mobs were hidden all over the map, which we could already see in previous votes.
So there is speculation that the upcoming update could be about deserts. If we rewind time a few years ago, we will reach the moment when we voted for the Taiga, Mountains and Desert update. The first two biomes have already received their new look, so the next one should be the desert. The presence of a camel is quite suitable for this, and almost half of the mobs that were on the voting map came from the desert. Namely ostrich, meerkat and vulture. However, whether we will see him is still unknown.
Unfortunately we didn’t get more news, but as time goes on we should get more and more information about how the new version works. The first version of 1.20 should be available relatively soon, but we don’t know exactly when, and the release of the full version can be expected again sometime around the beginning of the summer holidays.
