In the past, the PGA Tour, like FIFA or the NHL, was a sports tournament that came out with iron regularity every year. Long line going back to the early 1990s was discontinued in 2015when the last episode titled Rory McIlroy PGA Tour was posted.
Since then, golfers have had to rely on games from other companies. In 2016, for example, the solid The Golf Club was released, which coincidentally is followed by the recently released game on October 14th. PGA TOUR 2K23 from the same developers.
It is with this title from rival publisher 2K that it will probably EA Sports’ upcoming PGA Tour the most comparable. Recently, the developers showed the premiere teaser trailer, in which they first of all lure content related to the PGA licensefeaturing all four major Masters Series tournaments, a host of famous courses and a selection of top golfers.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will be released next spring on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The example attached above suggests that the game can be quite good in terms of graphics.
